Team
Five people, five disciplines, one product line of work.
The technical work is done by the people named here. Each of them owns a part of the instrument and answers for it.
Chief Executive Officer
Maria Lee
PhD, MBA · Principal Investigator
Maria leads the technical work. Her doctorate from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology is on the electrocatalytic oxidation of small organic molecules, and she went on to build recognition chemistry onto electrodes for clinical diagnostics.
Director
Will Lee
MBA · Commercialization and product development
Will leads commercialization and advises on product development. He is an electrical engineer who has taken dozens of semiconductor and electrochemical devices from design to production release into commercial and FDA regulated laboratory environments.
Instrument electronics
Brandon Lee
Electrical engineer · Marine Corps avionics veteran
Brandon leads the instrument electronics and the signal analysis. He works in embedded and digital hardware, machine learning, and numerical optimization.
Biology and validation
Brogan Lee
Biotechnology · Clinical study coordination
Brogan leads human biology, validation, and quality work, keeping the marker set and study design current with what is known about lipid peroxidation. He has coordinated Phase II and Phase III clinical studies under Good Clinical Practice and institutional review board oversight.
Sampling and front end
Brycen Lee
Mechanical engineer · Systems engineering, NASA JPL
Brycen leads the sampling and preconcentration front end. He works in mechatronic design, hardware integration, and instrumented measurement, and acquired systems engineering experience at the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory.
